Double Hump Twistout

I did a dry twistout on previously blown out hair and then styled it. The style consisted of two humps and then loose hair in the back.

Heres the style:

 To achieve this style I did a normal hump in the front and then I rolled a horizontal section of hair towards the middle of my head from both sides creating the second long hump at my crown. I then bobby-pinned it down. It was really easy so feel free to duplicate it!

BLOW OUT

I did a blowout on my hair last night!

My Process: 

I oil rinsed with olive oil. Then I shampooed with Nature's Gate biotin shampoo. Next, I deep conditioned with both Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose and Shea Moisture deep treatment  masque mostly because I'm trying to conserve the Aubrey Organics and I had the Shea Moisture laying around. I let my hair air dry for like 20 minutes or so in twists because I didn't want it soaking wet before blow drying (I wanted my hair to soak up as much moisture as possible even though I used low-cool setting to blowdry). Then I preceded to blow dry my hair in sections. I sprayed each section with Silk Elements Megasilk heat protection spray. The whole process (from the first time water touched my hair until I put down the blow dryer) took me about 2.5 hours.

(it shrunk some and had less movement than the night before but it was still nice)

Nails

I went and had my nails done a few weeks ago so I thought I'd share.

They ended up being a little too "princess/fairy/flowers/ and gumdrops" for my taste but they're still nice.
 I honestly can't wait to take them off already though!

IM BACK + TSHIRTS/ACCESSORIES

I'm back!! ...or at least I will be soon =]. This semester was pretty hectic so I had to take a break from blogging for a while...BUT summer is right around the corner SO I should be back to blogging frequently very VERY soon. I've already been wanting to blog about some things. I've got some thrifty purchases to show, I'm going to begin doing outfit of the day posts, and I'm about to begin making my own earrings because I'm sick of searching everywhere for some when I have designs for some in my head already. Hopefully that works out LOL but if it doesn't I'll still let you guys see the failures! =]. ALSO, I'm going to be blowing out my hair next Tuesday or Wednesday!! I haven't decided if I'm just going to take pictures of is I'm going to venture in to making videos of things I do. Either way that'll be coming soon as well! 


Sorry for being gone so long but I'm sure you all understand that school had to come first! =]


**** I think I'm going to be changing my blog layout. I want something fresh. So if you come and things look "strange" that's what's going on lol. I'm somewhat picky so we'll see how this turns out ****
